New Orleans gave them a storm. Austin gave them a home. Costa Rica gets the celebration.

Two dates in.

It began with a swipe in late summer. Then Hurricane Ida arrived, shut the city down, and changed the pace of everything.

Nowhere to be but together.

They evacuated to Mary's parents' home for two weeks. No power, no plans, and apparently no need for a third date.

The easiest yes.

Five years later, Austin became home. Mary matched at UT Dell, and Hunter asked the question the hurricane had already answered.
